Microwave Gujarati Gram Flour Dhokla Recipe

We all know Dholka is one of the most famous traditional snack of the Gujarat state. But nowadays, Doholka has become popluar in almost all parts of country.

Ingredients

1.)  2 cups Split Bengal gram (Channa Dal)
2.)  1/2 tsp Soda Bicarbonate
3.) 2 cups Water
4.) 1/4 tsp Hing (Asafoetida)
5.) 1/2  piece Ginger
6.) 4 Green chillies
7.) 6 tsp Oil
8.) Salt to taste



For Tadka (Tempering)

1.) 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
2.) Few Curry leaves (Around 8 leaves)

Microwave instant gram flour dhokla recipe

1.) Saok gram dal in water overnight. In next morning, grind the dal in mixer grinder. Now again keep the grinded dal overnight. In another next morning grinede dal will be in fermented form .

2.) In fermented dal - add oil, salt, hing, green chillies, ginger and soda bicarbonate. Mixed the mixture with a small amount of water. Beat the mixture thoroughly.

3.) Take the big microwave tray & greese it with oil.

4.) Spread the entire thick dal mixture in the tray.

5.) Take another microwave dish (tray type)  filled hot water in it. Now out the tray with mixture over the micorwave dish which is filled with water. Cover these.

6.) Microwave the entire mixture on 600 W for 10-12 minutes.

7.)  Dhokla is ready. Bring the trays out. Let the dhokla cool.

8.) Cut dhokla into square pieces.

9.) For tadka, combine the 2 tbsp oil, curry leaves and mustard seeds. Microwave this mixture for 2-3 mins and  pour over Dhokla.

10.) Garnish Dhokla with chopped coriander. Dokla is ready to serve with green chutney or  tomato sauce.

Microwave Sooji Idli Recipe

Ingredients:

1.) Sooji (Rawa) - 1 Cup
2.) Curd - 1/4 cup
3.) Water - 1/4 cup
4.) Salt  - Taste wise
5.) Soda - 1 Tbsp
6.) Oil - 1 Tbsp

Method:

1.) Take a bowl, add Sooji & curd in it. Now add water & mix well. Mixture should have the pouring consistency. So add water accordingly. Now keep the mixture aside for 10 minutes.

2.) With the help of oil, grease the microwave safe idli moulds.

3.) Before pouring the batter into greesed idli mould, add soda into the mixture & mix well.

4.) Now put 1/2 cup water in microwave safe bowl which comes with idli moulds & keep the idli stand inside it & cover it.

5.) Microwave for 5 minutes. 
 
6.) After 5 minutes, remove the Idli stand form the microwave & take out the idli form the moulds. 

7.) Serve the hot-hot idli with sause & chutney. Now enjoy the delicious idli....Yummy-tummy!!!!
